Duluth Public Schools Receive $27k Donation from Vega Productions
Vega Productions presented $27,000 worth of instruments to the Duluth Public School District on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2011. The donation was made possible by a partnership between Vega Productions, the Duluth Public School District and the City of Duluth which collaborated to produce a benefit concert at the Clyde Iron Works featuring Duluth musicians Trampled by Turtles and Charlie Parr. This donation will provide the opportunity for 600 Duluth students to participate in music programs each year, students that would otherwise not have the opportunity to do so.
